Access groups

There are two main part in Access groups:

  1. Categories.
  2. Permission management.

Categories

everviz offers many features and capabilities such as team/group management, API keys, theme settings, etc.

A group can only have access to features or content if the permission is enabled, by the administrator for that group. Otherwise, the feature will not be visible on the group’s interface.

The permissions are organized in four main categories:

  1. Developer
  2. Editor
  3. Customize
  4. Users

Developer

Admin

The Admin permission allows the group to access the Access Groups section.

API key management

This permission allows the group member/s to create, edit and remove the API key.

Editor

The editor category includes all the charts’ permissions such as view, create, duplicate, publish, metadata edit and trash.


Customize

Theme management

This permission allows the group members to manage the themes such as create, see and use themes.

Customize Editor

This permission allows members to edit the chart editor settings.


Users

editor

Team management

This permission enables the group to invite, edit, and remove members.

Sub-team management

This permission enables the group to invite, edit, and remove members.

View users

This permission allows members to see team members.



Follow these steps to grant permissions to a group:

  1. Go to the Access Groups section.
  2. Select the group from the Choose a group drop-down menu, or add a group.
  3. Select or deselect the permissions by clicking on the boxes.
  4. Click on the Save group button.
