Options for the Tile / Honeycomb map
Area code: The area code is a short code that provides an alias for an area’s full name (as specified in the Area Name column). For example, the area code for Idaho could be “ID”. The area code appears on a tile, so it’s best to keep the area code short so that it doesn’t escape the boundary of the tile.
Area name: Enter the full name of the area that the area code represents.
X Value: Enter the x-axis coordinate for the area/tile on the map. Coordinates start from zero, so the bottom-left tile in a four-by-four tile/honeycomb map would have an x-axis value of zero, while the bottom-right tile would have an x-axis value of three.
Y Value: Enter the y-axis coordinate for the area/tile on the map. Coordinates start from zero, so the bottom-left tile in a four-by-four tile/honeycomb map would have a y-axis value of zero, while the top-left tile would have a y-axis value of three.
Value: This is the value that provides meaning to the chart and distinguishes the tiles from each other. It could be the total population count of each US state, for example, or the number of millionaires in each UK county.
