Table specific
The Table specific panel is located in the Customize accordion menu in the table editor. The options presented let users modify options relating to the search tool, pagination and text styling.
Table specific
Search field: On with a check mark means that the search box underneath the table is visible. Off and unchecked hides the search box from the viewer.
Placeholder text: The text entered here is displayed in the search box.
Color: This control lets users change the color of the search box’s border and the magnifying glass icon within it. Click the filled circle to open a pop-up color chooser.
Sortable: On and checked means that the user can sort data. Off and unchecked means that this option isn’t available.
Show as card view on mobile: On and checked means that the table will be displayed as a card on when viewed on a mobile device. Off and unchecked means that the table will be rendered in its default mode.
Pagination: On and checked displays the table navigation controls below the table data. Off and unchecked removes the table navigation controls.
Results per page: Users can use this control to specify the maximum number of rows that are displayed per page. Enter an integer value in the textfield to specify the maximum number of results per page or use the up and down arrows to increase or decrease the value.
Back button color: Users can specify the background (fill) color of the table’s back navigation button. Click the filled circle to open a pop-up color chooser.
Back text color: Users can specify the colour of the chevron within the table’s back navigation button. Click the filled circle to open a pop-up color chooser.
Forward button color: Users can specify the background (fill) color of the table’s forward navigation button. Click the filled circle to open a pop-up color chooser.
Forward text color: Users can specify the colour of the chevron within the table’s forward navigation button. Click the filled circle to open a pop-up color chooser.
Text color: Users can change the color of the pagination numbers that sit between the navigation controls. Click the filled circle to open a pop-up color chooser.
Text font: Users can change the font used to render the data within the table. Click the drop-down list to see the font menu and click a font name to select it.
Text style: This option set lets you choose a color for the data within the table, set font size, enable bold and/or italic text and set the subtitle’s alignment.
Background color: Users can specify the color used to fill alternating rows. Click the filled circle to open a pop-up color chooser.
Border width: Users can specify the width of the border surrounding the data table. Enter an integer value in the textfield to adjust the border’s size or use the up and down arrows to increase or decrease the value already present.
