Annotations panel

The Annotations panel is located in the  Customize->Basic accordion menu in the table editor. The options presented let you create text boxes, highlights, lines and arrows to highlight important or interesting sections of your chart.

Annotations

You can add a variety of annotations to your charts in everviz. You can add text, for example, to provide the viewer with information or to draw attention to something in the chart. Click the + icon next to the annotation’s drop-down list to add a new annotation to the chart. Click the trashcan icon to delete the selected annotation. You can use the annotation type’s drop-down list to select a specific annotation if you’ve added more than one annotation to a chart.

You can move the text label whichever type you choose, and the lines connecting it to the fixed, terminal triangle will elongate accordingly.

Size: Enter a positive value to specify the font size of the text label or use the up and down arrows to increase or decrease the value shown.

Text color: Click the filled circle to open a pop-up color chooser so that you can set color and opacity options for the label’s text.

Background: Click the filled circle to open a pop-up color chooser so that you can set color and opacity options for the text label’s background. This control sets the colour of the curved arrow if the Connector label type is chosen and the colour of the circle if the Circle label type is chosen.
