Data Labels

The Data labels panel is located in the  Customize->Basic accordion menu in the table editor. The options presented let you specify the text and data that appear in the data labels, style the data labels, set coloured backgrounds and more.

Data labels

Apply to: Click the drop-down list to select the series for which data labels will be shown. You can choose to have data labels shown on all data series or specific series.

Visibility: On and checked means that data labels will be visible to viewers. Off and unchecked means that no data labels will be visible.

Label Format: Enter text and data into the textfield to see it appear on the data label. You can combine your own text and data with variables chosen from the drop-down list, such as x-axis values, the series name and the series colour.

Decimals shown: enter a value between zero and nine to specify a precision of up to nine significant figures, or use the up and down arrows to increase or decrease the value shown.

Label outline: Enter a positive integer to specify the thickness of the label’s outline.

Text font: Use this drop-down list to choose the font with which the data label will be displayed.

Label color: This option set lets you choose a color for the data labels, set font size, enable bold and/or italic text and set the data labels’ alignment.

Background color: Click the filled circle to open the pop-up color chooser so that you can specify the color and opacity setting of the data labels’ background.

Border color: Click the filled circle to open the pop-up color chooser so that you can specify the color and opacity setting of the data labels’ border.

Border size: Enter a positive integer value to set the size of the border surrounding the data labels.

Corner radius: Enter a positive integer value to adjust the curvature of the data labels’ corners. The higher the value the more curved the corners appear.
