Appearance styles for charts
The Appearance styles for charts panel is located in the Customize->Basic accordion menu in the table editor. The options presented let you style various chart elements, add a background image and set the chart’s height and width.
Appearance styles for charts
Text font:Click drop-down list to select a font style for the chart. Note: This help article contains more information about fonts in everviz.
Chart colors: Click a filled circle to open the pop-up color chooser to choose color and opacity options for a specific chart element. Click the trashcan icon to delete a chart element’s color options. Click the + icon to add a new control for a chart element.
Background color: Click the filled circle to open the pop-up color chooser to select color opacity options for the chart’s background.
Border color: Click the filled circle to open the pop-up color chooser to select color opacity options for the chart’s border.
Border size: Enter a positive value in the textfield to set the size of the chart’s border, or use the up and down arrows to increase or decrease the existing value.
Corner radius: Enter a positive integer value to adjust the curvature of the chart’s corners. The higher the value the more curved the corners appear.
Plot area color: Click the filled circle to open the pop-up color chooser to select color opacity options for the chart’s plot area.
Plot area border: Click the filled circle to open the pop-up color chooser to select color opacity options for the plot area’s border.
Plot area border size: Enter a positive value to set the size of the plot area’s border. Entering a very high number could mean that elements within the plot area are obscured.
Background image URL: Enter the URL path to an image for use as a background picture for the chart. Make sure either the chart is the same size as the background image or the background image is the same size as the chart so that the background image doesn’t look stretched or warped. Chart width: Enter a positive value to set the size of the chart’s width or use the up and down arrows to increase or decrease an existing value. Click the circular arrow to reset the chart’s width to its default size.
Chart height: Enter a positive value to set the size of the chart’s height or use the up and down arrows to increase or decrease an existing value. Click the circular arrow to reset the chart’s height to its default size.
