The chart type specific panel for a line chart

Learn how to customize unique series in line charts! 

Under "chart type specific" all your series from your data will show up and you have the opportunity to adjust the series as you like. 

The series all have the same functions, where you can customize the different series in the chart. In the following examples we will be customizing Series 1.  When you click the pull-down-menu for one of the series, it will highlight the relevant line.

Series type

In the example shown we’ve changed the Series type from Line to Spline.

Border style

The default value here is “Solid”, which can be changed to a series of different border styles.

Series Color

You have the option to choose grade of transparency, use HEX-code to find colors or use the color board to find the color you want for you series.

Negative values

This function uses color as a tool to differentiate between positive and negative values. Negative values will appear in the chosen color, which in the case of this example is red.

Point markers

Point markers are made to highlight individual data points in the relevant series.
