Add Company logo in Chart template

Introduction: Ensure brand consistency with every chart

When your audience views or shares a chart you've created, the visual consistency of your brand is crucial for establishing trust and professionalism. By adding your company logo directly to your everviz chart templates, you ensure that every exported image, PDF, or printout, as well as the live, embedded chart on your website, retains your branding. This article will guide you through the steps to incorporate your logo into your chart templates.

Step-by-Step Guide

Follow these steps to upload and apply your logo to a chart template:

1. Navigate to Templates

  1. Log in to your everviz account.
  2. In the main navigation menu, click on Designs.
  3. Under Templates, create a new Chart template, or select one of your existing templates.

2. Add your logo

everviz Layout and Table products have a dedicated logo section for easy setup. For Charts, however, we use a different approach: you must repurpose the Caption placeholder to include your logo.

  1. Navigate to Advanced > Caption
  2. Enable UseHTML
  3. In the Text field, enter the HTML code that acts as a placeholder for your logo. (See the example below.)

    <div style="display:flex; align-items:center; gap:8px; margin-bottom:6px;">
         <img src="https://app.everviz.com/logos/cNhhSD-uA/logo.png" style="width:15%; height:auto;" />
    </div>
