Uploading and downloading maps

The two buttons next to the  Country and Category menus in step 1 of the map wizard are options for uploading and downloading maps.

Upload a map

Upload a GeoJson map if you cannot find your map in the list.

Note: Currently, there is a limitation on file size of 2.2MB on imported files.

To upload a custom map

    • Project: enable or disable map projection. Disable projection if uploading a GeoJSON file that includes map projection.

Tip: Disable projection if there is no preview after uploading your map
    • Link your data by matching the code and name fields to the rows and columns in the data preview

Use a sample map

Using the maps and their sample data is a great way to test the system if you do not have your own data. You can always create a map with sample data and upload you own map later on in the editor.
