Uploading and downloading maps
The two buttons next to the Country and Category menus in step 1 of the map wizard are options for uploading and downloading maps.
Upload a map
Upload a GeoJson map if you cannot find your map in the list.
Note: Currently, there is a limitation on file size of 2.2MB on imported files.
To upload a custom map
- Click the + icon and select the GeoJSON map file from your computer
- This opens the create custom map dialogue box where you match the columns in your datasheet to a country code and name in the map
- Project: enable or disable map projection. Disable projection if uploading a GeoJSON file that includes map projection.
Tip: Disable projection if there is no preview after uploading your map - Link your data by matching the code and name fields to the rows and columns in the data preview

To download the map data as a .csv file:
- Click the Download dataset button.
Use a sample map
Using the maps and their sample data is a great way to test the system if you do not have your own data. You can always create a map with sample data and upload you own map later on in the editor.
