Map with rich tooltips

This article demonstrates how to insert rich tooltips in a map to display additional information when users hover over a country.

To use this map as a template, click this link and then select Save in the top-right corner.

You can format tooltip content using HTML by adding data in the Data section.

Notice that the column header is "tooltip" in this example. We will use this value for the next point.

Navigate to Basic > Tooltip in the settings.
Refer the newly added data column to display additional information for each country. Here we're using the tooltip column from above by referring to {point.tooltip} in the header field.
